Fintech that feels simple.
Design and development for banks, fintechs and financial platforms: journeys where money moves, trust is earned in seconds and regulation shapes every screen. Simple to use, accessible to everyone, and built to scale.

- banking apps serving EU customers have had to be accessible since June 2025
-
Fintech startups whose product has to feel as safe as the bank it replaces.
-
Banks and lenders modernising journeys that customers abandon halfway.
-
Financial platforms serving the EU, where the Accessibility Act now covers banking.
Moments of trust
Where customers decide whether to trust you.
A financial product is judged in a handful of moments. Get these right and people forgive almost everything else.
- 01
Onboarding
Identity checks that feel safe, not suspicious, and take minutes, not days.
- 02
First payment
The moment the product proves it works: clear, confirmed and reversible where it can be.
- 03
Something goes wrong
A declined card or a fraud alert, handled so the customer feels looked after.
- 04
Every day
Balances, statements and small tasks, fast enough to become a habit.
What you get
Simple for customers, solid for compliance.
Customer research
Sessions with the people who use the product, including the ones who find money stressful.
Simpler journeys
Onboarding, payments and servicing cut to the fewest steps your security model allows.
Security that feels safe
Authentication, confirmations and error states designed so strong security never reads as friction.
Accessible by default
WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549 from the first wireframe, which is what the European Accessibility Act asks for.
A system that scales
Components and rules that hold across teams, platforms and markets.
Build
Web and mobile apps engineered with your security and compliance teams in the room.
How we work in finance
Four steps, with risk and compliance in the room from the first.
-
Discover
Customers, risk and compliance heard in the first week, so the constraints shape the design rather than stop it.
-
Shape
Journeys and interface designed around the moment money moves, reviewed with product, risk and legal.
-
Test
Prototypes with real customers, including people who rely on assistive technology.
-
Build
Engineering in sprints, with accessibility and security checked every one, not at the end.
The rules, in short
Since June 2025, banking apps serving the EU must be accessible.
The European Accessibility Act covers consumer banking services, including their websites, mobile apps, identification, security features and payment instruments. It has applied across the EU since 28 June 2025, to UK and US companies serving EU consumers as well, with EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 AA as the benchmark.
In the UK, the FCA's Consumer Duty has required firms since July 2023 to deliver good outcomes for retail customers, including communications they can understand and support that works for customers in vulnerable circumstances.
