A WCAG 2.2 audit of your website or web app: every barrier found, ranked by how badly it blocks someone, with fixes your engineers can pick up on Monday. From a team that designed for the NHS, where accessibility was not optional.

What you receive

Every barrier, ranked by who it stops.

The report is written for the people who fix things. Each finding names the screen, the WCAG criterion, who it stops and the fix, in order of impact.

SeverityFindingWCAGWho it stopsThe fix
Blocker Checkout cannot be completed with a keyboard 2.1.1 Keyboard Keyboard and switch users Put the card form in the tab order and make every control operable. One component change.
Blocker Form errors are not announced 4.1.3 Status messages Screen reader users Announce errors in a live region and move focus to the first one.
Serious Helper text fails colour contrast 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum) Low-vision users, and anyone outdoors Darken one colour token. The fix reaches every screen that uses it.
Moderate Focus is lost when the menu closes 2.4.3 Focus order Keyboard users Return focus to the menu button when the menu closes.

Illustrative findings. Your report covers every flow in scope, with screenshots, and ends with a re-test.

What you get

A report your engineers will actually use.

  • Expert review

Every screen and flow reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA by a designer and an engineer together, not a scan. Automated tools catch about a third of real issues; we catch the rest.

  • Assistive technology testing

Screen readers on desktop and mobile, keyboard only, zoom to 400%, reduced motion and high contrast, on the browsers your users actually have.

  • Findings by severity

Each issue with where it is, who it blocks, the criterion it fails and a screenshot, ranked from blocking to minor so the order of work is obvious.

  • The fix plan

Concrete fixes in your stack, grouped so they ship in sensible tickets, with the quick wins separated from the design changes.

  • Design system notes

Where a component fails everywhere it is used, we fix it once at the system level: colour, focus states, labels, motion.

  • Re-test and statement

A second pass on the fixed build, then an accessibility statement or VPAT-ready summary for your sales and legal teams.

How the audit runs

About three weeks from access to a clean re-test.

  1. 01Week 1

    Scope

The flows that matter most: sign-up, the core job, payment, support. A representative sample beats a shallow sweep of everything.

  2. 02Weeks 1 to 2

    Review

Expert review and assistive technology sessions in parallel, with issues logged as we go so you see progress within days.

  3. 03Week 3

    Report

Findings by severity, the fix plan, and a walkthrough with your team so nothing is lost in translation.

  4. 04After your fixes

    Re-test

We check the fixes, close the issues, and hand over the statement.

The law, in short

Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act applies.

Directive 2019/882 has been in force across the EU since 28 June 2025. It sets one accessibility standard, EN 301 549 built on WCAG 2.1 AA, for a list of products and services sold to consumers in the Union, and it applies to companies based outside the EU that sell into it, including US and UK businesses.

Services that were already on the market keep their existing contracts for up to five years, to 28 June 2030. Anything launched or renewed since June 2025 has to comply now. Member states enforce it with fines, and each has its own authority to hear complaints.

Where accessibility was in the brief

Every product we ship follows WCAG AA. On these three it was written into the requirements: a national medical app, a bank's mobile banking, and a health platform for the public.

Most audits land between €4k and €12k, set by how many flows and screens are in scope. We agree the scope and the price before starting, and the re-test is part of it.
